The Kohler 10RESV is the most cost-effective option for homeowners wishing to back up their home power in the event of utility outages. Designed around Kohlers air-cooled KT725 vertical engine, the 10RESV generator outputs 10kW of clean, pure sine-wave power (9kW using natural gas) suitable for powering even the most sensitive electronics. Additional total surge capacity of 16.8kW is available as needed. When paired with a Kohler load center transfer switch (sold separately), a 10RESV Kohler generator is typically powerful enough to backup essential home loads and appliances.
Installed outside on a concrete or gravel pad, the 10RESV operates at a quiet, neighborhood-friendly sound level not exceeding 71 dB(A) at normal operation and meets EPA emission regulation standards for both propane and natural gas applications.
Users can easily program, regulate, and remotely monitor and control their generator as needed using the RDC2 Controller and Kohlers state-of-the-art OnCue Plus monitoring service, both of which are included with the 10RESV at no additional cost. All other accessories, including the recommended CH740 Maintenance Kit, are sold separately.
Warranty:
Manufacturers warranty for 5 years or 2,000 hours for standby applications. Warranty is not applicable for off-grid installations.
