By choosing a complete system from Unbound solar, the heavy lifting of design and component compatibility and selection are taken care of for you. All complete systems from Unbound Solar provide the necessary solar equipment for a functional and well rounded system. Any system can be customized to your needs and application. If you don’t see your perfect system, we can design it for you.
General electrical supplies such as wire, conduit, sub-panels and fusible disconnects are not included. These component requirements can vary by region and application, and must be sourced for the site layout and for integration to existing electrical systems.
NEM Optimization
When NEM 3.0 went into effect in California in spring of 2023. It caused a lot of initial concern for grid tie solar. These concerns are addressed by adapting grid tie systems with energy storage and system controls, to target certain times of day when export rates are highest. While simultaneously reducing reliance on the grid when import rates are at their peak. Resulting in often smaller and cost effective systems that reduce energy bills and maintain short ROI periods. What Are the Benefits of Using SolarEdge?
The SolarEdge single phase inverters with HD-Wave technology breaks the mold of traditional solar inverters. Winner of the prestigious 2016 Intersolar Award and the renowned 2018 Edison Award, the single phase inverter is specifically designed to work with SolarEdge power optimizers. Because Maximum Power Point Tracking and voltage management are handled separately for each solar module by the SolarEdge power optimizer, the single phase inverter is only responsible for DC to AC inversion. Consequently, it is a simpler, more cost effective, more reliable solar inverter. The fixed string voltage ensures operation at the highest efficiency at all times independent of string length and temperature. The fixed voltage also makes SolarEdge a good choice for ground arrays or other installs with long distance wire runs.
On-site system commissioning is performed efficiently though the free SetApp mobile application. And also provides Module-level and system-level production monitoring from anywhere with an internet connection.
