Sales Technician

While supporting Unbound’s senior technicians, the Sales Tech will execute their own solar component and system sales, such as grid-tie 16 panels or less, off grid 6 panels or less and small components. They will collaborate with other team members to ensure timely communication with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls and completes own sales
Create new customer records in Unbound’s internal database
Utilize sales skills to assist callers in appropriately identifying their needs
Assist Senior Sales staff in generating quotes
Quotes shipping freight and ground
Responsible for excellent customer service by following up on customer inquiries
Listen to and communicate professionally with customers to understand their specific needs

About you:

You have a minimum of a High School Diploma
You have a minimum of two years’ experience working within the solar industry
You possess some technical knowledge of the solar industry, such as of racking components, charge controller sizing, medium grid-tie and off grid system
You possess a strong attention to detail and have good organizational skills
You have intermediate computer skills
Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
You have foundational customer service phone skills and you can handle rejection and still successfully approach the next opportunity
You have excellent interpersonal communication skills, persuasive abilities with an intuitive understanding of what motivates others to take action
