The best way to optimize your ROI is by installing a PV system sized to offset 100% of your utility bill without excess, utilizing only Ideally-placed Modules not affected by shading, poor orientation, or other identifiable inefficiencies. Unfortunately the average residential household does not have enough Ideal area, let alone general area available to accumulate enough daily export (NEM 3.0 rates) to properly offset the peak rates.

These Grid-Tie w/ Storage systems, also commonly called Grid-Assist, store the excess PV energy you generate during the day. This stored energy can then be used by household loads later in the day or evening, reducing reliance on utility power, when utility rates are at their highest.
