Accounting Clerk
The Accounting Clerk will perform clerical, bookkeeping, accounting assignments and Data retention administration. The Accounting clerk will also assist in executing the daily operations of the accounting department.
Essential functions
- Process accounts payable & receivable
- Send out payment requests electronically to customers
- Process Credit Card, ACH, & wire payments
- Shipping/Freight data entry
- Process checks for payment & prep for deposit
- Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures
- Data Entry & digital filing upkeep
About you:
- You have a basic understanding of GAAP accounting practices and procedures
- You possess excellent organizational skills and have attention to detail
- You have good written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- You have knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software
- You are comfortably with working in multiple systems at the same time
