Kyocera began researching photovoltaics in 1975 and has installed thousands of systems throughout the world since 1978.
With advanced cell-processing technology and automated production facilities Kyocera produces highly efficient multi-crystalline photovoltaic modules. The cells are encapsulated between a tempered glass cover and an EVA pottant with a PVF back sheet. This is to ensure they are protected from the most severe environmental conditions. Then the whole thing wrapped up in an anodized aluminum frame, providing structural strength and ease of installation.
